Flat liners have no drawstring or vest handles, so there are fewer production steps and the unit cost is usually the lowest in a given specification. They suit high-turnover use where the liner is held by the bin or a holder and never lifted.

Flat trash bags: common questions
A flat liner has a straight opening with no drawstring or handles and is held by folding over the rim or by a holder, so there are fewer steps and the cost is lower. A drawstring liner has a cord you pull to seal it: faster to change, but a higher unit price.
Non-gusseted flat liners are stated as open width × length; gusseted flat liners as folded width × open width × length. We confirm which convention applies before you order, so both sides read the specification the same way.
